ITS TODAY! #MSBEXP
As the entire Sketchbattle team is working hard to get the new venue setup and ready for tonight’s festivities, we have a ton of IMPORTANT last minute news. First and foremost the list of competitors has been updated as typical last minute work priorities get in the way of fun. The most exciting part however is that 2015 Champion Sketchmaster Darby Barber has been given a past-champion’s slot in the competition. Second, there are a tons of ways for the audience to participate and enjoy the party that include going home with some awesome prizes. To learn more read on…..
Have you ever wanted to drive really, really fast on a race track? How about, have you ever wanted to drive fast on a race track in someone else’s car? What about if I told you that the car in question was your choice between a Viper ACR and a Hellcat? M1 Concourse will be at tonight’s Sketchbattle and will give away a VIP driving experience to one lucky winner. All you have to do to be entered in the contest is help them design the Viper’s next wrap. Everyone in attendance has an equal chance – stop by their table, sketch and design you idea on paper and the winner will be chosen. The Viper wrap will be produced and the new design at Autorama next month. M1 Concourse is also supplying a VIP driving experience to the overall Sketchbattle winner.
Not an artist but still want to walk home with some awesome prizes? Project Beautiful – Inside and Out received some awesome donations that will be offered for silent auction. Thumb through the pictures to see prizes including this Radio Controlled LaFerrari with working lights donated by Brad Palmer at F1 r/clab.
Finally, the one thing most people tell me they remember from our last Detroit event is the Instant Art Car. Make a donation to Project Beautiful and we will give you a sharpie. Then you can draw and sketch to your heart’s content with a cool car as your canvas. Last year we have a VW Bus but this year we have gone one better………Its a total surprise but I must say the guys at Munks Motors have outdone themselves this time. Thanks to Chris Braden and the team for their efforts.
