Sonny was born and raised in Zambia, Southern Africa and grew up in a beautiful, wild, rural part of the country. Yet his childhood had him surrounded by farm machinery, trucks, motorcycles, aircraft, and off road vehicles. The curiosity and inspiration from these surroundings led Sonny to the living room table at which he drew his first doodles. Sonny entertained his imagination by creating his own machines on paper, not knowing that many years later he would choose to pursue a career around that very same activity. Yet here he is, on the opposite side of the planet, doing just that. Sonny is currently a student at Art Center College of Design, and you can find Sonny’s portfolio here.
