Bringing Detroit to LA – The Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment™ comes to the LA Auto Show

For the first time EVER, the Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment™ is not a side event at the auto show, we are THE EVENT at the Auto Show.  Brook and I are excited to announce that on Wednesday, November 16th in Los Angeles, the Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment™ will be the official party of Automobility LA and the LA Auto Show!  And unlike past Designer Parties at the show, entrance is OPEN to everyone – no need to have a fake business card printed.eventbrite_new

Middlecott Sketchbattle Esperiment 2016

This year, the Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment™ is presented by BASF. Color is what turns vehicles into emotional products, and in this arena  BASF has immense expertise and makes the perfect partner for the event. Both students and professionals alike will compete head to head by sketching in front of the audience in a multi-round competition.

Starting with approximately 16 designers, the competition will consist of 3 rounds, each with it’s own unique subject matter and judging criteria.  Each round roughly half of the contestants will be eliminated based on decisions from our panel of industry experts (watch this space for an announcement of the judges).

The winner will get a check for $2,500 compliments of BASF and a Polk Audio system with a value of ~ $5,000.
