Each year I pencil the Geneva show into my plans. And why not? Geneva is only 275km from where I grew up and I still have family in the area. But then the winter of Detroit gets on my nerves and by January I am itching for some sunshine. So decision time comes, Geneva or a beach in the Caribbean. Guess what I chose? The good news? When I don’t go the Geneva you guys get to skip my amateurish and out-of-focus photos and see Daniele Maida’s awesome ones. So, with limited interruption, here are some awesome shots from Dani Photo Design.
Alfa Romeo 4C Spider: Not new, still gorgeous – in a topless variety.
420 horsepower, quattro and no speakers.
Yum! Audi TT Sport Quattro Concept – don’t call it a concept, build it and they will come.
The One:1 nomenclature is intended to demonstrate this version of the Koenigsegg Agura accomplishes 1 horsepower for every kilogram.
The multiple pictures above are intended to show 1 picture for every 167.625 HP (that’s makes 1,341 total for those without a calculator).
Lamborghini Huracán: No other car demonstrates a fighter jet mentality better.
The Maserati Alfieri Concept out-sharks the BMW Z4
The new McLaren 650S Spider only weighs 88 pounds more than the coupe.
We lamented at the Los Angeles show that the Mini isn’t so Mini anymore. In fact the new Mini Clubman Concept actually no longer fits on this page.
As a first gen New Mini owner I recently avoided buying a 2nd gen because it had lost some of the intimacy. The 3rd gen destroyed the rest of the intimacy and the new Clubman Concept smashing it in the ground and stomps all over it.
Porsche 919 Hybrid: Fuel economy importance is increasing.
Why else would Porsche bring a V4 Hybrid to Geneva.
The Skoda VisionC Concept is built on the same platform as the Audi A3.
There will only be 8 of the Touring Disco Volante – better order yours now.
The Volvo Concept Estate was done by a friend.
That’s enough for a Best in Show Award for me (we never claimed to be unbiased – congrats T Jon)
Come back tomorrow for some other beautiful shapes from the Geneva show.
