What’s a Car Battle?

We move quickly from yesterday’s Sketchbattle report right into today’s Car Battle.  Of course, you may ask yourself what is a Car Battle?  Another of the recent Design in Motion events at the Detroit Design Festival that showcases what do people do with their own cars from their own garage, with their own equipment and finances….. that’s what!

Even the Judges have nice rides – Larry Erickson’s Ford

The Car Battle was judged by a bevy of rather well-know Detroit Design talent.  Larry Erickson, of Ford Mustang and Cadzzilla fame joined forces with Camillo Pardo of Ford GT fame and Kyle Evans of “That House I am so Jealous Of” fame to pick the car that made their senses the happiest.

1st place was awarded to Tony Siharath for his slammed Subaru STi.

472nd place went to to Ruby Qureshi for her BMW 3 Series
